EFCT Supervision Group starting in May!

This will be a closed group of therapists wanting to lean into EFCT theory, concepts and interventions. Interested in EFCT Certification? We've got you covered! This group will be closed to support a safe, connected and positive learning environment. The group focus will be: 

• creating safe community of learning and growth in the areas we all grapple with in our application of EFCT! 

• supporting those who are on the path towards certification. 

• processing your couples' cases, offering encouragement and validation. 

• practicing and developing EFCT skills and interventions. 

Time: 10:00AM-11:30AM 

Dates: 4th Wednesdays of each Month, 5/22, 6/26, 7/24, 8/28, 9/25, 10/23

Cost: $100 per group, $600 in total 

Each group the participants should prepare to present a case, share tape of your sessions and role play to practice and work through our stuck places in EFCT. If group learning causes you some nerves, reach out and we can discuss! The group is being scheduled for 6 months, with an option to extend participation.

Join ICEEFT Certified Supervisors and Therapists, Emily Brown Levis and Melissa Callahan for their new group! Beginning in 2024, we are launching an Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) Skills Group open to all EFCT learners!

The theme of these groups will focus on "what to do and how to be." Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy is an elegant model with a clear roadmap of steps and stages, as well as specific ways to embody the stance of an EFCT Therapist. We decided to create a learning experience combining these integral aspects of the model - focusing on how to become an EFCT Therapist, while also knowing which interventions to use on the EFCT Roadmap.

Our EFCT Skills Group: What to Do & How to Be is a 6-part series, with a maximum of 8 participants in each group. As a participant you will experience conceptual teaching on the topic, experientially learning with role plays, as well as group process.

You are welcome to register for all six groups in the series, or pick and choose which group is most relevant to your growth edges. Each group will be 90 minutes long, 10AM - 11:30AM ET. The cost to join is $100/group. Since there are limited openings for each group, be sure to register as each EFT Skills Group as registration opens! The Supe Group is a new space for supervisors to connect, collaborate and strengthen their supervisory skills. The Supe Group is dedicated to supporting supervisors with the important task of developing the new generation of therapists. In this space, we will support one another on how to...

• Create a nurturing and professional relationship w/supervisees

• Support supervisees in becoming ethically & clinically competent

• Navigate SOT issues during supervision

• Develop the supervisee’s skills

• Explore the supervisees’ professional identity

If you would like to join, you are committing to 5 Group Supervision Sessions, for a 90 minute supervision space from 10AM-11:30AM ET.
